Festival Mission Statement

Venture Outdoors in partnership with National Get Outdoors Day is dedicated to making outdoor recreation a vibrant centerpiece of living in our communities and encourages everyone to participate in outdoor recreational activities. The festival promotes Utah's unique natural amenities, highlights our excellent quality of life, fosters a greater appreciation for the environment, inspires an active lifestyle and creates a shared sense of community.

The Millcreek area is abundant in outdoor recreation amenities and resources that, when taken advantage of, lead to healthier lifestyles. Venture Outdoors aims to provide information and activities to residents to make these resources more available for easy access and use.

National Get Outdoors Days seeks to entice kids, families and adults who don't normally go outside to explore the tremendous recreation opportunities available in Utah, develop lifelong outdoors interests and skills, and become stewards of the public lands that sustain us.
